This is super easy to make and very tasty. It’s also quite versatile. I changed the original recipe to suit my tastes. Here’s how I made it.
- 2 TBS Butter
- 6 oz spinach
- 3/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- sprinkling of black pepper
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat
- Cut any tough ends off of the spinach
- Rinse the spinach and place in the sauce pan with water still dripping off the leaves
- Cover and cook for 5 minutes
- Stir and continue cooking for about 5 more minutes
- Season with nutmeg, salt and pepper
- Serve while still hot with a slotted spoon
